How does Nova Driving School ensure my teen’s safety?
Our certified instructors are excited to create a fun and safe learning environment, using vehicles equipped with dual controls for extra peace of mind! We go above and beyond by teaching essential defensive driving techniques, making sure your teen is fully prepared for anything the real world might throw their way. Let’s get them ready to hit the road with confidence and skill!
What does the program include, and what are the state requirements for teens to get a driver’s license?
Our teen programs include:
- 30 hours of classroom instruction.
- 6 to 12 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons.
- Observation hours as required by state law.
Teens must hold a learner’s permit for 9 months, complete 50 practice hours (40 daytime, 10 nighttime), and pass the road test to obtain their license.
How soon can we schedule lessons after signing up?
Once your teen finishes the first 4 classroom sessions and passes the written permit test at the DMV, we’ll be ready to schedule their behind-the-wheel lessons at a time that works best for you. With lessons available 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, we’re here to fit driving lessons seamlessly into your busy schedule!
What happens if my teen needs to reschedule a lesson?
We totally get that things come up! If you need to reschedule a lesson, just give us a heads-up 24 hours in advance. If something unexpected happens and it’s a last-minute change or no-show, there will be a $60 fee. This helps us keep things fair and smooth for all our students. Thanks for your understanding!
